Our Office Manager-Melissa has been with Dr. Flake since the office opened in October 2003 as the clinic’s first receptionist.  Originating from the human dental field, she has found the transition to the veterinary field to be fun, challenging, and rewarding.  Though most of her day is spent doing paperwork, Melissa continues to assist with appointments when needed, with special interest in pet dental care and laboratory work.  Melissa and her family are huge animal lovers, and open their home to all that show up on their doorstep.  Melissa is currently owned by four cats-Murrey, Johnny, Manny and Ben; as well as a lovely lab, Bobbi; Denver, an Old English Sheepdog; and Brady, a Newfoundland.
